    Working on Redlogics 2k12 sliders

    **Uploaded to 2kshare on PS3 as Redlogic's Sliders v.1**
**Sliders uploaded on Xbox 360 with the name "Redlogic's Sliders V1" by IrA Scorpyon**

These sliders will be Shot Stick Timing based, either HOF or Superstar Difficulty (though they do work on All-star from what I understand).

Right now I have these on HOF....The game plays nice right now, not feeling like the CPU is getting a cheap shots on me and my team seems to play good help D. Here is what I have for now...please be kind :P I hope they work for you guys and again try them on HOF or Superstar...these are for Shot Stick Timing!!

    12 Min Qtr's - Game Speed 50 Difficulty - HOF

    Offense (Human/CPU)

    Inside Shot - 51/48

    Layup - 49/47
    Dunk - 49/47
    Dunk In Traffic - 47/45
    Pass Acc - 50/48
    Alley Oop - 50/45
    Contact Shot - 47/43

    Defense

    Steal Success - 53/45

    Attributes

    Quickness - 60/52
    Vertical - 42/39
    Strength - 50/55
    Stamina - 50/48
    Durability - 50/50
    Hustle - 55/48
    Ball Handling - 52/47
    Hands - 43/43
    Dunking Ability - 43/40
    On-Ball D - 60/40

    Injury Severity - 35/35

    Tendencies

    Take Inside - 53/53
    Take Close - 52/52
    Take Mid-range - 51/51
    Take 3pt - 50/45
    Attack basket - 55/55
    Look For Post - 60/60
    Throw Alley Oop - 50/50
    Attempt Dunk - 50/50
    Attempt Putbacks - 70/55
    Play Passing Lanes - 55/35
Go for On Ball - 53/50

    Backdoor Cuts - 60/45

Fouls (same for Human and CPU except Shooting Foul) Human/CPU

Over the Back Foul - 75
    Charging Foul - 75
    Blocking Foul - 50
    Reaching Foul - 52
    Shooting Foul - 62/67
    Loose Ball Foul - 75

My main goal was to make the CPU actually earn baskets and not hit EVERY SINGLE OPEN SHOT...yes they are professionals but even pro's miss open jumpers SOMETIMES. Also I tried to reduce the 1 sec left on the shot clock with a hand in the face swishes LOL. Hope you guys like em and all and any feedback is much appreciated. Maybe all of our input combined can make a set of Super Sliders!!

Nothing like that, in all honesty I haven't even tried anyone's sliders so they may be awesome for all I know. I kinda like to tailor my sliders to my kind of game and last year it seemed a few people liked em. For some reason, this years game just seems off to me. Like I can't get a good flow, also the CPU is like a team full of snipers so I'm working on getting realistic results for shooting %.

Re: Working on Redlogics 2k12 sliders

This year no one really achieved to have a good flow of the game with their sliders.

2k11 was a great year for sliders with Armor & Sword but this year everybody have difficulty to making the great set....perhaps the trouble comes to this 2k12 edition......

Jesus' set and majestic are the best in here and they are pretty good but i'm sure someone could do better...so why not YOU !!!!

yes i used your sliders for 2k11. Hands down the best for me. the challenge, and most important the scores were on point. no 120 point games. right around the league average. The best sliders for 10 min quarters.

Re: Working on Redlogics 2k12 sliders

I really dislike the fact that ur sliders tend to be in favor of human in plenty cases. 90 per cent of peeps here are trying to have nice simulation/realistic games @ all-star level with equal values.

I just dont get the excitement to win a game over cpu knowing that my mid-range success is for example 48 and cpu's 46.

                But maybe its just me.

                Anyway, to the sliders :

shooting foul 60 = no way to get an average of 20-30 free throw attempts
offensive/defensive rebounds 65 = Again this year, 2k made no effort on fixing the offensive rebounding averages. (we need 14 per game average). Your slider definitely aint helping on fixing this.
fatigue rate 56 = they just dont seem to get tired EVER ;p u need @ least 60-70.

Also tell us which is ur gameplay overall speed , 50 ?
Finally, would be nice to post some screenshots of ur games.

Game speed is 50...my screen shots never come out looking decent so I don't have any...sorry. I only go off of my results from the games.

Anyways, a couple of points...these sliders aren't finished hence the whole working on title but I found that shooting fouls setting should be in the 60-63 range or else it's just too many cheap fouls. I'd rather have less than get called for a foul every time I get a block. That's my preference...and fatigue is another preference. My players get plenty tired and I rotate most of my guys in and out. Both of those can be adjusted to fit your preference. None of these sliders have to be permanent. I would be willing to go higher on rebounds however as a general rule of thumb I try not to make extreme changes to sliders (not going below 35 or higher than 75).

Also, I am playing on Superstar right now. What does it matter what the shot ratings are for the CPU/Human as long as the game feels right? Not much I can do about that and if it bothers you that much to have different ratings for Human and CPU these sliders won't be good for you. Thanks for the input however, always appreciated.

Out of curiosity, did you actually play a game with these sliders or are these just observations you have made from experience? Have you been playing on Superstar difficulty?

I didnt mean to be critical in a bad way m8. I just giving my thoughts here. And yes, ive had many manyyyy games with shooting foul @ 60. (Didnt achieve to get realistic FT attempts @ 60).

"These sliders will be Shot Stick Timing based, either All-Star or Superstar Difficulty (for now)."

So, since u said for all-star diff, i insist that i dont want to be cheesy on cpu by reducing its field goal efficiency. However, on superstar i imagine that those might work. Ive pld all-star counting more than 200 games till now and im happy with the degree of difficulty atm. Tried superstar for like 10-15 games and the cpu was like godlike. (maybe if i decreased their shooting sliders would be allright ;p, but i would rather not).

I have been playing a bit on All-Star but I felt the game flowed better on Superstar and was much more challenging. The challenge however is to make the computer actually better but not cheesy better if you know what I mean. So in an effort to combat those b.s. shots the CPU loves to make I usually adjust the shooting ability to compensate for the fact that even pro's miss wide open shots (not a lot but they do). For me, it drives me crazy to see them hit every shot, hand in the face or not. I have never felt it was cheap to lower their abilities but I understand why someone wouldn't want to do it. My sliders from last year were set up the same way and I really enjoyed how it played so here we are. Superstar is an absolute bitch, can't ever take a play off which can be hard to do but is always a challenge. Regardless, I do appreciate the insight!

Here is a screen shot of my latest game, hopefully it comes out ok. My only issue was the low Offensive Rebounding total (though this is the Knicks I'm talking about, not the most prolific rebounding team in the NBA)

i m really enjoying the set. Maybe not enough fouls but really competitive plays. Realistic gameplay, Bravo from France !!!

Yes, right now just using the default sliders. Turn up the shooting fouls to 65 ish and you should be good on fouls. I get plenty at 62 but edit as you feel needed. Glad you enjoy!
