Re: Authentic's NBA 2K12 Sliders

Whew, finally a win. Dwight is such a beast on these rosters. One thing I definitely love about these is the ability to actually have success on fast breaks. Not nearly as many moments where a much slower player catches up and prevents the fast break.

Re: Authentic's NBA 2K12 Sliders

1 Word...........AWESOME!

Best gaem I had yet was a loss 107-99 Pacers (cpu) vs. Pistons (me). Gmae was back and forth as I had good lead in 2nd and 3rd quarters. Pacers were shooting outside most of 1st half with only 8 PIP after 2 quarters. Then they went inside between Hibbert and granger and I couldn't keep up. With 3 minutes left they shot lights out and I failed to keep up. great game.

Well I just had a weird game, the Hornets scored 41 on me in the first (sigh) and led 70-52 at the half. Not sure what was going on, I gave up at halftime though, too high scoring for my taste. Probably just one of those crazy games that happen every now and then.

Great to see you guys are getting good results.

Right now I'm waiting for the custom playbooks to get into the roster and then I will start my Bulls season. From what I hear, the custom playbooks make a huge difference so I might as well wait it out.

Definitely enjoy the feel for these, however one thing that is sticking in my craw. I'm running with the Twolves, and Rubio is turning the ball over like crazy. Its not like I'm pushing the tempo that much and making risky passes in traffic. I'm talking 6-8 ft. from a player and throwing into the 4th row. Perhaps it has to do with consistency at 0, but I really just don't see the point in having a player like Rubio unless his passing can separate him from quicker and better shooting guards.. I'll keep plugging away, but I'd love to hear if anyone else has experienced this.

Ok, as an experiment I took two teams and made the run plays setting at 100 in the coaching profiles section. Here are the results. I bet if you didn't know which team I always play as you couldn't tell which team I was, which a lot of slider sets lack...

I am also getting a bit irritated at some of the turnovers I see from guys. The turnover totals look good, but I am not real happy with the number of times that I see my players dribble it off their feet, etc. Nothing that is preventing me from enjoying the game, but just a bit frustrating.
