Variety is a good thing. Not every game in the NBA is back-and-forth. Some times one team just dominates the other.
Ok! Thanks.

This may have been covered, and if it has I'm sorry...but what roster do I use with this set?

You can use the 2k default rosters or any custrom roster that only has ratings and/or aesthetic updates.

If a roster has tendency or Coach Profile updates, I'm not sure how well these sliders will work with it.

New Update!

Since I've had time to just play the game instead of trying to dissect my own sliders, I got quite a few games in over the weekend. Because of this, I noticed a few things that needed to be tweaked and fine-tuned. Now, not only does the game play out EXTREMELY smooth and fluid (especially with the Offline Association settings), but the stats that I've been getting have been phenomenal. Oh, and the newest version adds a slight difficulty boost, which is nice

All new values will be in BOLD.

Enjoy!

So the highest value any team should have for fastbreak should be 30? Even teams like the Warriors who had something like 80 for default? Loving what I've seen so far but was curious about that one area. Thanks!!!!

From what I've seen so far, 30 is high enough even for teams like the Warriors.

Basically what this slider controls is the tendency for the computer to put up a shot on the fastbreak, not the tendency to run the fastbreak. So with the higher values (80 for example), the CPU will force their way into the paint and take a highly contested shot (if the defense is set), which almost always results in a miss. By lowering the slider, teams still run the fastbreak, but they don't put up careless contested shots if there's nothing there.

If you're noticing that the team isn't pushing it enough, however, feel free to bump the slider up to 35 or 40 and tell me how that works for you.
