Re: NBA 2k13 "The Eccentric Edition" - All-Star Slider Set

Alright, I'm taking my time on my next update, as everyone seems to be loving my current set!

What I would like to know is EVERY major and minor gripe you still have with the gameplay. Please, don't base these issues off of one game, take the time to get a couple games in with this set to ensure that the problem is actually a problem and not just a random off game.

Once I really know what the widespread issues are, I can buckle down and do my best to eliminate them so that we can all just enjoy the game and stop worrying about the constant tweaking.

Help me help you!

Just wanted to drop in and say, I've tried several different slider sets and I have settled on yours. They are outstanding and thank you for the work you put in, makes my 2K13 experience much better

have to play a few more games but the only thing i notice is maybe too much offensive rebound from the cpu (more since you decrease the slider from 46 to 45 ???)

and perhaps to many shoots (easily 80-95) and 75-85(88) should be better, but i think it's a problem due to the offensive rebounds but also of tempo/rythm of the cpu. They always run and only walk at the end of a game when they will win...

but as i said, i have to try it more...

do you have the same feelings?

Yes, in every slider set I've tried and every version I've put up, I've still always noticed that the AI has a tendency to run too much and doesn't take their time on offense.

I've been fidgeting with the Offensive Awareness and Attack the Basket sliders and I'm seeing some interesting results, but nothing that I'm overly satisfied with. Hopefully I can get this one worked out soon.

when you lowered the offensive awardness, cpu's rythm decreases but has a bad gameplay scheme they do stupid things and that *****

for the attack to the basket, when it's too high, they just act as bulldozers and when it's too low, they are stupid because when they have the opportunity to take a shot at the post or in the basket, they make a pass...

just one more thing, but it could be my imagination...

did you already try mkkarsh33 pass accuracy slider at 48/38 ?

there are more turnovers, number of shoots is then a bit reduced due to the loss of a 24sec clock.

what do you think about it?

Yeah, I've tried it. I'm not at all a fan of the HORRENDOUS passing that results from those settings. If you're not passing with CP3, half the time the ball will just sail out of bounds. I get that there are SOME bad passes in the NBA that do this, but nowhere near as many as those settings provide.

I'm all for more turnovers and everything, but not artificial turnovers like that. That's why I'm working on making the User teammates and CPU opponents try to attack passes and intercept them instead of lowering the Pass Accuracy and letting the game make the turnovers for you.

Hello EccentricMeat,

your slider set is really great. Most realist by far.
I have some problems with hum/hum games :
1 - few blocks
2 - few off rebounds
3 - too many steal
4 - the defense seems overpowered.

Thanks for help
