Eccentric these sliders are awesome, they play very realisticly! The only thing i changed was i upped the post shots by 10 because i thought they were kicking it out to the perimeter to quickly. Also i had one question, when the cpu gets an offensive rebound right near the rim it seems like they never go back up with it and always kick it out for no reason, is there a setting that would make them go back up with a shot after an offensive rebound? Thanks

Yes, increase either "Attempt Putbacks" by a few clicks (don't raise it higher than 75), or increase "Take Inside Shots" to 15.

Also, be careful raising the Post Shots tendency by too much. At 70 I was noticing far too many bad shots from the post and almost a complete lack of kicking the ball out to an open shooter. I would suggest setting it to 65 instead of 70.

The more info I have, the more I can help you out.
Im getting around 18-25 free throws a game while the CPU is getting only around 12-16. I mostly use the whole shot clock unless i have a really good shot early on. The CPU most uses only about half of the shot clock and take too many contested pull up jumpers as they are driving. Im also forcing the CPU to a low amount of turnovers and I only get about 1 or 2 blocks a game so that may also may be a factor

Ok man... I will give it a go after work.... The main thing that has always bothered me and the sole reason I have not chosen shot timing is how does individual player ability come into play? I am assuming it does? I can't suddenly take Jordan or Griffin out to the 3 point line and start draining them can I?

This is gonna take some getting used to if I change lol

Player ability is still 100% in play when using shot stick timing. I honestly don't see why some people prefer Real %, because you can still make or miss open shots but the game decides that 100%. I like the feeling that, when I miss, it's my fault and not the game's.

Re: NBA 2k13 "The Eccentric Edition" - All-Star Slider Set

NEW UPDATE (Xbox 360/PS3 Slider Set)

Version 4.1 is now up! Slight yet affective changes have been made to the CPU's offense, which should give the CPU a more diverse, realistic, and well rounded attack. With the CPU making better decisions, playing defense will become slightly more difficult.

To make it a little harder for the USER on offense, while also making defensive play more realistic, a few changes have been to the Defensive sliders. By setting Layup Defense Strength GATHER to 100, fewer dunks-in-traffic will be initiated, being replaced by contested layups. This change helps get rid of one of the more widely complained about features in the game, the "turbo dunk", which involves a player initiating a dunk animation that forces all defenders to slide out of the way. Also, this change should help increase penalties as well as plays where you may scream at the screen "HOW IS THAT NOT A SHOOTING FOUL, REF?".

With the increased diversity in gameplay, animations, blocks, and fouls, the new update should be more challenging AND more enjoyable.

Right I see.... Great to see you have updated your sliders.... I went through a month of trying different roster's and sliders and just couldn't enjoy the game anymore. I now have come back to os simms roster's paired with your sliders and finally I am having fun again....

Gonna go up and try your sliders with shooting stick.... Wish me luck lol.... Keep up the great work EM
