Re: Tempo-Freelance-RunPlays

I would just like to add that Triple Threat Shot = Escape Dribble Pull Ups.

Re: Tempo-Freelance-RunPlays

Run Plays slider scale, how fast you want the CPU to call plays after rebound. Rough timing done, but this is basically what happens.

Seconds
Slider
3 0
3.5 10
4 20
4.5 30
5 40
5.5 50
6 60
6.5 70
7 80
7.5 90
8 100

Very interested to see the results of that.

As far as shot type selections being a 'weighted' section and not based off 100 points total, I think that may still be true, but it seems like some of the shots(runner, stepback jumper) are still 'weighted' higher than the others with all things being equal. For example(and I have not tested this specifically) if you set all the 'shot types' to 50, you will see a lot more runners and stepback jumpers than fadeaways.

Could this also tie into the 'Triple Shot+Pull Up=escape dribble jumper', so 'TTS+PU+Stepback Jumper=EDJ?

I think step back jumper may have an effect on the type of escape jumpers you see but I know for sure that if you give Jeff Horneck a 50 in pull up jumper and an 80 in shoot from triple threat than you get escape pull up jumpers all day.

From Slimm's guide:

Pull Up
Subjective. Only 0 and 25 were given to reduce insane amount of shots taken by higher numbers.

Looks like he had this one nailed already.

Re: Tempo-Freelance-RunPlays

I want to get this on paper before I forget to test it.

contest shot is a slider for intense D, the blocking slider drastically effects how wildly someone will swing at a jump shot,

I would like for a player to play body up defense but not look like an idiot when he jumps to challenge a jumpshot. Is there a middle ground?

The sliders in question are.

On ball defense.

Contest shot.

Defensive awareness????

A combination of these three should lead to a realistic defense without over playing the shot.
