No they are not. But I haven't plugged in your tendency/ratings yet.

I foolishly upped the awareness for everyone in my roster thinking it didn't have an effect on anything.
Offensive Awareness or for both Off and Def?

Because what me and Hyper found out to get nearly accurate assist numbers is to give that PG (whether it be Chris Paul,Rajon Rando, etc) a high assist rating. Appropriately lower some passing ratings (notably most of the bigs to 25 since many don't average more than 1 a game) and bump up the Offensive Awareness of his or her teammates by +10 to +15. By doing this I've managed to get Rondo to 10+ APG on a regular basis through sims.

Also, I think the average for most players should be a 35-40 in the passing rating. This also helps with getting in game turnovers as well as correct assist numbers for that player during sims.

Most PG's should have around 50-55 in that rating while the good to elites should have 60-80. Only Rondo and Paul should have 99's as they each also have great passers that eat into the sim averages because of the pass rating (Rondo has Pierce while Paul has Griffin).

Current Scaling(Adjusted to by how many minutes they average. 30 minutes is the cutoff for normal scaling. May scale up for certain bench players.)

1 APG = 25
2 APG = 30
3 APG = 40
4 APG = 45 (Around the cutoff for Big Men like Marc Gasol, Pau, and Blake Griffin)
5 APG = 50
6 APG = 60
7 APG = 70
8 APG = 80
9 APG = 90
10 APG (Chris Paul = 95 Pass Rating)
11+ (Rondo = 99 Pass Rating)

Went and found the scale. Just trying to contribute...

Why not just use the per/36 min stats that way everyone is scaled the same. If a guy getting limited minutes and has a low assist avg. per game, then replaces an injured starter and his minutes get jacked up he is going to avg. more assists. Wouldn't your method limit this somewhat since he would be scaled lower than his current MPG dictates. Same thing goes for association. CPU trades a starting PG and starts the backup the "new" starters averages will most likely go up.

Re: Tempo-Freelance-RunPlays

You guys......

I was gonna upload my latest version of the 90-91 roster after getting caught up on the edits last night.

Now I wake up and realize I have more to do, smh, lol.

Is there an updated ratings guide by slimm floating around somewhere?

I'm using this for now:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...ilebasic?pli=1

Some of it is the same, but some has changed drastically, like all PG with 100 pass out for example.

Anyway I started testing some dribble move stuff last night with Tim Hardaway(Sr.). I figured if I can get him doing the "Killer Crossover" then I should be able to replicate about anyone.

I am still looking at the "Dribble Penetration" tends(moves) as "Go To" moves. But I think I am closing in on having to have straight dribble and simple drive, and drive right @100.

Here is what I did for Timmy:

Pull up=0(man i wish we could figure this one out)
Pump Fake=15
TT=25
TTS=50
NO TT=75

Straight Dribble=50
Size Up=0(cause the "Spin Cycle" even @ 25 it is just less frequent)

Drive Right=50

Crossover=100
Spin=0(use with caution, unless player is specifically known for his spin move)
Half Spin=0
Double Cross=100
BB=0
Hes Cross=25
In and out=75
Simple Drive=0

ATB=68
PO=85
(this is based of inside shot tend and pass rating respectively).

Hope to have something soon.

Re: Tempo-Freelance-RunPlays

Look at me getting all noob ish on my own thread

What makes someone (who already has the ball) post up in freelance. Qpc123. I saw in the video you posted Charles Barkley took it from the 3pt line and posted up his man. What do you think made him do that?

That could happen, which is why I did it on a case by case basis. Most backups are only going to get a maximum of a 50 passing rating unless you're name is Jarrett Jack or Andre Miller. Guys who are known for getting assists while getting minutes off the bench. Those type of guys I would use PER/36. Otherwise using PER/36 caused an inflation across the board I didn't really like (As I was also testing whether the passing rating effected the flow of the offense more in game. It did in my opinion.)

For the most part I never ran into this problem because most guys were perennial backups (less than 10-12 minutes a game) and thier ability to effectively run an offense (passing/off awareness) is part of the reasons why. I usually reverted to their career high in APG to determine the stat if push comes to shove.

I'm not really sure what causes that either. Best guess would be the freelance post up tendency in combo with his Attack. I have his post up @75 and attack is 82. I'll look more into it as this may be way to get Magic to dribble with his back towards he basket.

I'm not so sure it's the freelance post tendency because I've seen Joe Johnson do it quite a bit and his post tendency for freelance is in the 20s.

Plus I think it's something I broke while I was upping all of the simple drive, no triple threat, straight dribble stuff.

When I get back to the game I'm gonna try lowering simple drive into the 20s for Bosh while keeping his attack high. Hopefully that will make him post up instead of drive when he has the ball outside of his range.
