Btw ffaacc03, check your PSN inbox.
Nothing in the coach profile except tempo (and apparently that is debatable) has an effect on sim stats. Like ffaacc03 said its all tendencies and attributes.

TOTAL SIM CONTROL in Association also has a Major effect on Accurate Sim Stats. It basically is the Coaching Profile version for Simulation.

But does offensive tempo still determine shot attempts. I'm gonna be away from the game a while and would like to know the answer to that one.

Shot Selection in Total Sim Control is Basically your Offensive Tempo. So if you set ALL teams "Milk Clock" you will average Less shots and less PPG. Set every team to Run and Gun and you get More Shots and Higher PPG. The Sim Engine does do weird things, so it is HARD to tell IF Tempo has ANY effect in Association, but I do know it has LESS effect and that the SHOT Selection is the MAJOR thing.

Re: Tempo-Freelance-RunPlays

Thank you.

I had to do a Google search about it only to be led to your thread about Total Sim Control. Haha

It's amazing more people aren't talking about it. I know I'm not the only accuracy junkie on these forums.

I can see myself losing a solid week of my life trying to figure out the opponent differentials on Box Out statistics. Ugh!

The only thing that interests me is trying to get the cpu to play like its real life counterparts. The three have so much to do with how the cpu plays and the other things you mentioned like attack the basket and bench depth. But its just tough to figure out all the fine points of them all.

I use this site for Team info when working on Coaching Profiles. It breaks things down for everything.

You individual Player Tendencies are of MAJOR importance as well to go along with Sliders and Coaching Profiles.

Re: Tempo-Freelance-RunPlays

I've been monitoring this thread a bit and feel ready to jump in. I'm playing on the PC version (so no patch), and I did some play testing with coach mode.

I did not see any difference in freelance based on the Run Plays setting. The only difference I saw was that at high levels, teams would call multiple plays in one possession if a play failed, while at low levels, teams would freelance after a play failed. No matter what, plays were always called (unless a fast break was initiated from the rebound).

I'm not sure I see any difference between high and low tempo levels either. I'm now playing with every team at 0 tempo, and run plays from 10-30 based on whether the teams have more creative ballhandlers or more post players.
