The answer: E=MC squared.

Read the whole thread. Whew. My head hurts!!

Could you please summarize what you think you learned on tendencies in each area (with small parameters) and Ill input data for two teams and test.

New EYEs. Thanks for your efforts. Great read
Yeah it would likely take a day or two to collate all the info and re-post it and with things in such a state of flux by the time it was finished a lot of it may have changed.

Like bigtrey said just ask questions, but try to stick to one issue at a time.

That led to needing to adjust tendencies, which in turn led to pissing off certain roster makers.

Then all of a sudden (I blame SLIMM) it turned it to an existential meta-commentary about fundamental 2k Basketball mechanics.

I'm trying to update the front page with definitive finds and relevant information but

A) I'm lazy

B) things keep changing. I thought for sure there was no way around the spin cycle but along comes QPC with easily one of the best write ups I've seen for this game and now I have to amend the front page.

I think it would be easier to just ask a question and one of us will let you know what we know about it.

Sorry. But you're welcome to dive in on this mayhem. Once SLIMM gets back to me with some test results we're really gonna dive into floor spacing.

That should be fun.

I'm lookin forward to floor spacing lol

I caught myself thinking that in the middle of watching a test this afternoon. I had to pause the game and check and the settings.

Haha, Isolation in freelance.

I played around with it at 100 for Lebron only. Split 50/50 at the high post position, the theory is when he comes off a screen in freelance once he's in the high post area his teammates should "clear out" to allow for better drive and kick opportunities.

I got distracted by the close shot tendency, but I feel like it was relatively successful in keeping Ray Allen and Dwayne from cutting across the lane (and bringing their defenders with them)while Lebron is driving.

Re: Tempo-Freelance-RunPlays

im glad i stumbled upon this thread. am i the only one who hates seeing plays run at zero on some slider sets? i firmly believe that having any sliders/tendencies/ect at 0 or 100 ruins or breaks alot of things. am i the only one with this belief?

Wow thats two new names. I sincerely thought I was doing this for my own benefit.

How many people are actually looking at this thread and not saying anything?

I suppose I owe it to anyone putting up with us constantly disagreeing with each other to clarify what actually works.
