I have only tested in Quick Play, so leave it at default 50 until further testing.

Re: Trifecta 2K14 Sliders

Baylien, I'm playing with slight tweaks to the tendencies. Would like to know how to get mid range game to open up more in shot selection for the CPU

I'm set at

Take inside 85
Take close 50
Take mid 90
Post shots 90
Attack 75

Re: Trifecta 2K14 Sliders

In a battle with the Spurs. Halftime just hit. Amazing feeling game thus far on both sides of the ball. I got off to a HOT START hitting 7 of my first 8 FGA, but then drew cold as the quarter closed. In the 2nd both teams battled the others' runs and the Spurs grabbed a late one point lead. Duncan struggled early so he looked to play the role as Paint Protector and Boards Hog instead of forcing his shot. I expect Duncan to come out of the Break on a mission.

It's hard to say. With my play style, the Tendencies in the First Post have the CPU taking open Mid Range jumpers CONSTANTLY. Drifters and momentum shots are a Game problem, but with high Tendency of Mid-Range Shots, you should see open Mid-Range J's taken when given. If you're not seeing enough, try lowering the Other Shot Tendencies by maybe 5 (except for 3 PT) and Increasing Mid-Range by the same amount.

Re: Trifecta 2K14 Sliders

Just lost against my Warriors using the Lakers (current lineups/injuries implemented) I came into the game knowing I was going to be able to score early, but as the game wore on, my depth would be limited and scoring droughts would happen. I was 100% correct.

LAL 27 | 19 | 19 | 25 | 90
GSW 21 | 23 | 32 | 25 | 101

LAKERS - STAT - WARRIORS
32/78 (41%) - FG - 40/89 (45%)
9/30 (30%) - 3PT - 6/18 (33%) *
17/23 (74%) - FT - 15/18 (83%) **
2 - DUNKS - 4
9 - FB PTS - 14 **
34 - PIP - 48
4 - 2ND CHANCE PTS - 10
22 - BENCH - 21
23 - AST - 20
6 - OFF. REB - 9
37 - DEF. REB - 41
4 - STL - 12
4 - BLK - 4
13 (5) - TO (PTS OFF) - 7 (12) **
16 - FLS - 20
7 - BIGGEST LEAD - 12

* I was throwing up a lot of 3's late in the game to play catch up. Mostly open looks with Johnson and Young who both were pretty cold for the game overall.

** These three stats (FT, FB PTS, TO) are the main cause of the discrepancy between both team's FGA. As the Lakers, if I would have made some better decisions with passing and fast break execution as well as getting some solid consistent stops on defense, I would have evened the FGA pretty closely and possibly could have pulled out the W

LAKERS
Gasol 25 PTS, 13 REB, 6 AST, 1 STL (8-16 FG, 9-11 FT)
Young 14 PTS, 4 REB, 1 AST (5-17 FG, 2-10 3PT)
Johnson 12 PTS, 10 REB, 4 AST, 3 TO (4-10 FG)
Meeks 11 PTS, 2 REB, 3 AST, 1 STL (4-8 FG, 1-4 3PT)
Henry 11 PTS, 8 AST, 2 STL, 1 BLK (4-14 FG)
Williams 8 PTS, 3 REB, 3 AST (2-3 3PT)
Hill 8 PTS, 3 REB, 2 AST, 2 BLK
Sacre 1 BLK

WARRIORS
Curry 25 PTS, 8 AST, 2 STL (8-21 FG, 2-7 3PT)
Iguodala 20 PTS, 4 REB, 3 AST, 2 STL (9-14 FG)
Bogut 14 PTS, 11 REB, 1 AST, 1 STL, 1 BLK (Fouled out with 4:00 left in 4th)
Lee 12 PTS, 21 REB, 2 STL (6-9 FG)
Barnes 10 PTS, 2 REB, 2 AST, 2 BLK
Thompson 9 PTS, 2 REB, 2 AST (3-16 FG, 1-3 3PT)
Green 5 PTS 1 STL, 1 BLK
Douglas 4 PTS, 2 AST, 1 STL
Speights 4 REB, 1 AST, 2 STL
