NBA2K in Widescreen?

I guess this goes for all 2K games, but I recently bought a widescreen HD TV (Panasonic Tau 27") for my gameroom and to have something to really showoff the 360 graphics on.

Anyway, I bought the HD component AV cables for my XBOX, set the XBOX to Widescreen but all my 2K6 games (NHL, MLB, NBA) all stretch the screen instead of actually playing in widescreen mode. Madden plays correctly but I can't seem to figure out why the others will not.

Does anyone know if this is just a feature those 2K games didn't include and Madden did? For those who have NBA2K6 & a HD widescreen, does it play correctly for you?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

do you still see black bars on the sides of 2k6? This is a probelm with the game, as VC made the game 14:9 aspect ratio instead of 16:9, due to frame rate issues supposedly. On some TV's you won't notice the black bars on the sides (I didn't because my HDTV in my living room had a a lot of overscan which hid the black bars, then I moved my Xbox to my den, and played the game through my projector and I see the black bars on the sides).
