Dunk/Layup vs. Shot Tendency in 2k3

I have figured this out, but i have yet to see someone say that this is what this meant. This has to do with how often you will go up for a dunk or layup during the game in certain situations as opposed to a regular shot. I play with it completely off so that you can't just run over a defender and have 60 fouls a game. It makes it a lot more realistic.

Re: Dunk/Layup vs. Shot Tendency in 2k3

what do u mean? If the slider is maxed way to the left, you will do more lay-ups/dunks when you try to score inside?
And when the slider is 0 (all the way to the right), the player will just make jum shopts inside?

i'm confused coz it says Dunk/ Lay-up VS. Shot Tendency
So i figured Right is for Dunk/Lay-ups while all the way Left is for Shots

    Dunk/Lay-up >0--------------------------------<40 Jump Shot

Is it this wrong? Should it be the other way around??
If it is, then Sega should have made it "Shot Vs. Dunk/Lay-up Tendency"

actually, this is something that both me and arenas and many others have suggested. sometimes i even thinkt he slider doesnt do anything.

I do know that the further right you put the slider, the more layups they do.
