Stuck At Halftime

I was playing a game between the Clippers and Kings and when halftime came around I tried to fast forward by hitting the A button (360). The screen showed the cheerleaders dancing, but wouldn't advance. I waited for 10 minutes, and the music stopped but the cheerleaders were still dancing. I was able to go to the main menu, navigate around, but when I go to resume game, the screen was still stuck showing the cheerleaders dancing. Since I was able to navigate to the main screen, it couldn't have been my 360 getting stuck. Eventually, I had to play a rematch of the game, but l;ost the game I was playing because it wouldn't advance from halftime. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Yeah, that happened to me too.

A 2k dev told me to just let all the cutscenes, including the intros play out. Don't skip them or try to rush through them, and most likely you won't have a problem.

I haven't had the problem since, but I think it's a rare occurrence to begin with.

Neo, did you have that problem after playing a rematch? I read somewhere that someone said it only occurs when you elect to play a rematch.

I'm pretty sure it didn't occur during a rematch, simply because I almost never choose that option.

But I can't say for sure, unfortunately.
