Re: YAO MING

You could try double-teaming or trying a new defense set.

Re: YAO MING

No such thing as a "glitchy player" bro...

There are however flaws in the game that allow unrealistic stuff to happen.

Yao blocking a lot of shots isn't one of them...

He makes a lot of shots inside the paint because of the ratings.

He can do unrealistic dunks because of the dunk ratings or dunk package, or a user abusing exploits in the game.

The paint positioning flaw in the game makes it even easier for players to score inside the paint, as well as the lack of collisions.

Don't blame it on the player. He only does what hes programmed to do, or what a user controlling him, makes him do.

Re: YAO MING

Yao is very hard to stop especially when a person knows the post moves extremely well. I play with Yao in "The Sim League" and I'm the guy who wrote the post game tutorial so I can tell you what works and what doesn't.

First, you really can't stop him one on one so stop trying. The only things that worked against me all season was stripping the ball with a guard. If you double him it had better be far from the basket because it's ineffective if he is close. Another strategy is stealing from him on a backdown. This is hit or miss. Plus if a person knows how to Quick post you, you are in trouble using this strategy.

Lastly, I would say your best bet is to have a high rated shot blocker who is fairly tall and simply contest his shots without swatting at it. This will make him miss more which slows him down but really, that's all you can hope to do. (That's the way it is in Real life)

Should he have said "screw Beluba and Simballer for programming Yao Ming wrong" then would it have been better??

Call the Chinese government and tell them Yao is exhausting himself before the olympic games. In 2 seconds he's on the injured list.

Re: YAO MING

And no one uses his triple threat game, which he does have a formidable semi mid-range.
