do you and your other 4 buddies get to pick your 4 favorite players and use it against another team of 5?

For example, can me and my buddies pick a team of Nash, Kobe, Carmelo, Duncan, and Yao or do we have to use a team like the Spurs, Sonics, and stuff like that?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm just curious to know how this work.

I think that would be a Custom game if anything? Probably not ranked.

From the IGN article, it sounds like you pick whoever you want and make teams.

most likly have to use a team unless they also have 5 on 5 street games

hopefully you can choose to play as a team instead of drafting player because that wouldnt be much fun

Yes you can pick your own player but only for unranked game. For rank game, you're automatically assigned a player and you can't switch.

im assuming itll be similar to how its done in FIFA 08 where you pick a team then you pick the position you want to play. then youre locked into that position the whole game, even if substitutions are made.
