NBA 2K9 PC Activation Key Issues...(Resolved)

I still don't understand why they released this game in Europe BEFORE the US, and it seems that Europeans have no problem to play it. Is this part of that "NBA players considering moving to Europe" trend?

I called about a dozen people at 2K Sports today re: the CD key issue. One of them, not in the NBA 2K9 department, called back with a CD Key. He said they're working on a fix so people can play today, and that he was calling me back because he wanted to make sure I could play the game. He thanked me for buying it.

He also said it was an issue at the printer. It's a big mistake, but it's easy to see how it happened with a company, for the printer a client, that usually doesn't print CD Keys.

I was pretty blown away by that level of service.

2k's on the ball finally and a solution will be uploaded within 24 hours that will remove the key entry from the installation process

fix is in...make sure your Steam is updated to todays client update, insert your disc and away you go...ahh its been a long day

hey guys i just uninstalled steam and reinstalled it and it is now allowing me to install the game through steam bypassing the cd key which is bull crap way of doing it
