I can't seem to do any isomotion moves. It's either not in the PC version or it's different from last year. I can't do any stutter steps or anything. Anyone else having issues?

Re: PC controls
I went through the tutorial. It didn't tell me anything about doing any jukes or spins at all.
I mostly just want to know how to do a jab step. That's my favorite move. Also, I can't seem to do any up and unders in this game. Is is just really different from 2K8? Or are the controls that much more picky?Comment

The tutorial shows how to do spins, jab steps, hesitation dribble, all sorts of moves.Comment

Re: PC controls
It has changed from last year. The stutter step is still there put not as prominent. A lot of the moves are the same but slowed down or a different animation.
It takes a little bit to get used to but I liked it.
I can't tell you how to do specific moves because I am waiting on my PC version to get here.Comment

Re: PC controls
Has anyone else been able to do any of these moves? I can't do any Iso moves with a 360 pad. It's like the "B5" and "B6" buttons aren't functioning right. My controller is working fine, it's just that the game isn't registering me holding these buttons down or something. This is really pissing me off. Even for $20 if I can't do any moves, it's not worth it.
Even with buttons 4 and 2, they say it's a spin and a crossover. Pushing either button does nothing.Last edited by Boge; 10-23-2008, 03:56 PM.Comment

Re: PC controls
It took me forever to figure it out (using a PS3 controller), but I finally got it.
To go into triple threat, you have to press the Post Up and the Sprint button together (I assigned them to the Left and Right bumper buttons) and move the analog to jab, etc.
Isomotion is the same way, hold both for the double cross, or just sprint to do regular iso moves.
Also, at least with the PS3 controller, I noticed the button assignments were all out of whack. You can change which buttons correspond to what (i.e. pressing the Up directional button was defaulted to move the menu selector right) by scrolling through the options at control set up (Offense/Defense/etc, the one you want is called Action Buttons, I believe).Comment

Re: PC controls
These controls are completely bugged. If I swap the triggers with the bumpers, then the Y and B buttons cause the jab step to work.
I wonder if it has something to do with the analog triggers not working right for the PC. Either way, 2K did a bad job on this and I'm thinking a patch is definitely in order, but I don't expect it very soon. This is tragic.Comment

Re: PC controls
The only moves I can do is the jab step. With the default controls, I can press both bumpers and it works. If I switch those controls with the triggers, it doesn't work anymore, however, the Y or B buttons allow me to do a jab step if I hold one of those down. It's totally messed up. This pretty much renders the game unplayable for me at this time.Comment
