Is there a way to launch the game (PC) without steam? If so please give detailed instructions. Last night for some reason I couldn't connect to steam and thus could not play.

click on start steam offline
-go to the my games tab
-2K9 should be in there
-launch NBA 2k9
another way to do do this is to also
my computer
look for the steam folder
open the steam folder
then manually move the NBA 2k9 icon onto your desktop.
fom now on all youll have to do is click on the NBA 2k9 icon -
