How do you get to see more ingame injuries?
2K has did a great job with ingame injuries this year, but I was wondering what slider effects this? Do I need to lower the durablity slider attribute in the game slider section to see more in game injuries or raise it? Or do I need to lower the injury slider?Tags: None -

Injury Severity =/= Injury Frequency.Comment

Or on a loose ball dive near the scores-table. You are almost ALWAYS bound to get injured that way... Well my players always get injured doing that!

Re: How do you get to see more ingame injuries?
So I need to raise the duribility slider to see more ingame injuries. In that case then I will lower the injury severity so that the players don't always get injured and don't come back in to play. I played around with this when the game first came out, and I was seeing all kinds of cool little injuries, but didn't remember what I did. Players actually payed for going inside in the paint hard, players diving for balls, getting fouled, coming down wrong on rebounds produced all kinds of ingame injuries, but it was cool because the players would work it off or go to the bench and then comeback in like they do in real life. Thanks,I will be raising the duribility slider to see more injuries, for some reason I thought I was lowering it to see more.Comment

Re: How do you get to see more ingame injuries?
See that's what I thought too? I could have sworn back when I had set like on 40 I was seeing more ingame injuries, but I'm getting two different statments on this thread? I'm not sure is it the duribility slider or the injury severity slider. You would think by lowering the duribility slider that it would cause more injuries but I maybe wrong. I think I have mines set on 10 and you would think you would seen a ton of ingame injuries but I haven't, I may have to double check and see what I have mines set on, but I need some confirmation on what to change to get more ingame injuries.Comment

Re: How do you get to see more ingame injuries?
You need to edit EVERYONE'S durability rating. I would base it off of % of games played/games missed for a person's career.
But you have to use discresion because some players weren't in a rotation for their team so that is why they didn't play. So it might be tricky doing this.
For younger players use their college history.Concrete evidence/videos pleaseComment

Re: How do you get to see more ingame injuries?
So then I need to raise the durability slider to see more injuries. Damn 2K needs to let us know which sliders work and which ones are backwards.Comment

Re: How do you get to see more ingame injuries?
Looks that way, I'm going to have to raise the durability slider a try. I want to see more ingame injuries while playing, but I don't want the players to get too severly injured and not be able to finish the game. So I'm going to try raising the durability slider and lowering the injury severity slider.Comment
