Your favourite isomotion move?
Anyone got an isomotion move they love pulling on the defense? I've always enjoyed crossing over followed by the behind the back wrap around as I drive to the basket. I ended up perfecting it... (as seen by my Wilson Chandler dunk below)

I like the in and out followed by a crossover or behind the back. Also i like to size up followed the in and out. -

Re: Your favourite isomotion move?
It is isomotion. It is L2 + R2 and the left stick, turned in a wrap around fashion (hard to explain with words, brain fart on my part). The steal attempt was emphasized by the use of the isomotion.
I do this move a lot. So you can't tell me people are just ALWAYS attempting a steal and is coincidentally triggering the same animation everytime I try to do it. Especially since I practice it all the time in the warm-up (waiting) area of team-up mode.Let me enchant your pantsComment

It is a missed steal animation. That is NOT the behind the back isomotion animation.Comment

Re: Your favourite isomotion move?
If you're getting that animation then I can ALWAYS tell you that they are attempting a steal. Again, that's not isomotion, it's a missed steal animation. Yes, you can perform a behind the back move using isomotion, just not that one.

Re: Your favourite isomotion move?
It is the exact same move I use going baseline. Isomotion or not in that play, it is still the same move you can pull off in-game via isomotion and was the move I often try in that situation.Last edited by ChuckyFE; 07-28-2009, 02:24 AM.Let me enchant your pantsComment

Re: Your favourite isomotion move?
So your player uses his hand to push the defender out of the way, even though there's no defender there to push off? That doesn't even make sense. Again, that animation in the video is a missed steal animation, not an isomotion behind the back.Comment

Re: Your favourite isomotion move?
I like a hesitation dribble, a quick cross, then behind-the-back if there's still space/dudes to get past... burns basically anyone. The in and out dribble is very useful also since it's so quick. I also love just using the quick stepback move and shooting pull-ups... deadly with quick PGs.
Oh, my favorite single move are the RT+LT crossovers... those are the prettiest and most effective in the game... not quite as fast as the default crosses, but more controllable since you don't magically go 50 mph towards the basket ha.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Re: Your favourite isomotion move?
They're both behind the back wrap arounds. Regardless of it being a "missed steal" animation or not, it's still the same type of movement with slightly different detail. Now lets stop the criticisms and get back on subject.Let me enchant your pantsComment

Re: Your favourite isomotion move?
i like what i do is real life, i hesitation dribble then a crossover or a pass by. By pass by i mean where you go right or left of a defender with out changing hands. Its more of a side step lol. The hesitation dribble sets up the burn cause the defender trys to i guess which way you go. If he guesses right you just quickly cross him over or spin or behind the back. Works for meComment

Re: Your favourite isomotion move?
My favorite iso move would be putting two behind the backs together, going different ways. I've never had one quite like this though.
