Re: Technicals and Ejections?
Also, people would be pissed if guys like Sheed or JR got T'd up out of their control and cost them a game...........EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

Re: Technicals and Ejections?
I know it's more permitted in the NHL, but the NHL games are actually promoting their fighting in their game. In the MLB games, they have the managers and players arguing with the umps, leading them to get tossed out sometime. Before EA Sports gave up on baseball, their MVP game actually allowed you to go argue on any call and could increase how heated the person was. NFL doesn't really have anything like that except for excessive celebrations, but even those have been toned down by the actual players. You even see specific celebrations in Madden as well.
I know it's something that is frowned upon about the NBA, but there is usually at least two technicals a game. I think that would be a big part of franchise mode in getting a guy like Rasheed, who has good talent, but is a headcase. There is a reason that not many teams were looking at him and that he wound up on a veteran-laded Boston Celtics team. Another way would be with guys like Ron Artest or Bruce Bowen, who get a little too physical at times which leads to jawing and the occasional shove. This is something that I've wanted in for a long time (and I know the reasoning behind it not being in), and I think David Stern should get his panties out of a wad, and give us an even more realistic basketball gaming experienceComment

Re: Technicals and Ejections?
Atleast coaches should be able to argue. Hell if there was a button to argue and there was no benefit to it Id still use it. If I am so pissed at a call or a no call I will find any way to take my fury out on the refs.I will always, always be a Jets fan. But trust me it hurts.Comment

Re: Technicals and Ejections?
I could care less about techs. I would rather have flagrants. Hell, they already have the hard foul animation...just make it so that some of those are flagrants.
I don't know wassup with this NBA image thing. They used to have dynamic attendance and got rid of it (apparently NBA Live is bringing it back), NBA Live on Genesis had flagrants, and Kobe Bryant Courtside had technicals for hanging on the rim.Last edited by Po Pimp; 08-21-2009, 03:54 AM.Comment
