I dig the combine, but i hope continue to they improve the movement. I feel more in control than last year, but it could still be tighter. 2k needs to add walking animations. It seems to me that you either jog or run when handling the ball. Makes it hard to spot up behind the arc.

Unquestionably the best value for $5 in basketball gaming history...no one in their right mind can claim this isn't worth their $5.

I have created a 6'5 defense first PG...pretty hard to do well, but I wanted to try and get my D up to scratch before NBA 2K10 comes out.

First time in a game i've sworn out loud at a "team-mate" after one guy under the bucket missed an easy lay up I'd set him up for. I was desperate for the assist

Great game for what it is.
Tell me about it. I'm a defensive center. I never call for the ball but you really notice when you have a pass first PG who knows how to find you vs a selfish one.

I get frustrated with the movement but really enjoy the concept of the combine and look forward to getting my guy into the game.

I notice that these are pretty gaudy numbers, though. If I earned them, I'd want to brag.

I just finished my first run with my 3-Pt. Specialist SF. Apparently I suck, or I don't cheese, or most likely a combination of both. As I recall, I finished something like:

9.3 PPG
5.1 RPG
4.8 APG
0.2 BPG
0.7 SPG
35% FG
34% 3FG
75% FT

Average teammate grade was an A+ (must be a mistake, since I only had A+ twice, but never lower than an A-). If you've played basketball in reality, you can get a good teammate grade as long as you're not jacking up shots and you know your role and position.

On that note, I noticed myself falling into my real-life patterns, like crashing the boards on post moves instead of hanging out with the opponent at the perimeter. And, like the mostly-realistic court spacing, it works nicely.

I'm feeling the Combine, best five bucks I've spent on a game EVER. This game makes me want to take my Madden and NCAA Football back just to spite EA. Imagine if 2K could still make College Hoops. Most likely you would start this mode in the college game as a freshman in high school in the ABL, get to PICK your school, play your college career, CHOOSE when to come out, go to the combine, get drafted, then off to summer league, training camp, earn your start, All Star teams and Championships. I mean this when I say it,.. Get Your Weight Up, Not Your Hate up EA!
