If they do the ratings correctly this year I don't think they will be that dangerous. Their defense looks awful right now. Also I would think the wider range of ratings for each player will hurt guys like Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol.

Well, they have a lot of offensive firepower. I think it's going to be a borderline disaster to watch in real life, but in NBA 2k10 they will be a threat. O.J. Mayo, Rudy Gay, Zach Randolph, Allen Iverson, and Marc Gasol will do damage in the game, and I expect Thabeet's presence to be severely overrated as well.

I was originally thinking about using Memphis in my Association. I plan on controlling two teams, the Celtics and a bottom-feeder that I can build up. Memphis was very intriguing to me until I realized how much I despise Zach Randolph and dislike the make-up of the team. Winning would come much easier with Memphis in the game than it will in real life, so I'm not interested anymore. And I say that as a longtime Allen Iverson fan.

I actually kinda like them, too. And just like I did in 2k8 the Grizz might be a nice challenge to built up. Back then they had Gasol, now a vet with Iverson.

Not as big of a threat as Mayo or Gay. I really don't understand this Memphis backcourt now. What are they gonna do throw Mayo or Iverson at the point? Bring Iverson off the bench?? We all saw how much he loved that in Detroit. I'm dissapointed, I was a pretty big Grizzlies fan, they had a nice youth movement going. Now they bring in Iverson and Randolph? Defininitely not the 2 guys I would want coming into my organization

But, they should be pretty fun in 2k for a lot of people. I never really liked Iverson in the game though, way too short for me

And the youth movement isn't over, iverson is a 1 year deal, and part of Randolphs contract is still paid for by porland these year, so its still a rental not a commitment long term.
