I have seen plenty of cpu players take mid range shots in 2k9. I played the game against the cpu a couple of weeks ago and I was surprised by how many shots-off-the-dribble and midrange I saw.

Because of what I read on the forums I thought these things NEVER happend. When I played the cpu for myself, I was pleasently surprised because I didn't expect it to happen.

It's not the midrange game that is lacking in 2k9. Court spacing isn't the best, which creates some problems with the midrange game..but if you play set offenses, you'll find the mid range game...often.

Well they did alot for me because i found the perfect sliders. And basically i put the global sliders close to 0 and the players close on PG,SG,SF to all 0. And i see alot of midrange, the problem is shoot off drible that the only problem i see. There were few shoot off dribble especially when players like Ray allen and kobe are very dangerous at.
