I remember being told Pierce has the same shot as last year and Ray's has been improved.

hit and miss once again... some are hysterical yet still carry a likeliness of their true self.. Luke Ridnour is pink in the face lol.. Jamison looks like an old man.. with the new emotion system in place, it may be premature to call some of these failures.

I meant to play Houston and check out Battier and I forgot. The "tough" defenders body up and create more deflections and play the lanes more. They also lose their man defensively and come over to help more than others. It's a very slight thing to notice, but it's there.

I had the same experience online as I did offline. Here's a positive note, I saved the game to my HD and noticed no lag while offline after that. But I only had the chance to play one game after I saved it the 360 HD.

I went through the MyPlayer mode slightly. It's very cool. I don't want to ruin it, so I'll put it in the spoiler below:

You start off at the draft podium watching Stern stand and "announce" each individual player from the '09 draft. They don't go up and shake hands or anything, it's pretty much a static screen with the names being announced. Stern doesn't talk, either.

I was drafted by the Bobcats (UGH!) in the 2nd round. I started off having to play Summer Games.

This mode is extremely well done considering it was a one year effort. I'm excited just thinking about the possibility.

lol Well, it's sort of still there. The animation is cut down and once your player is past him off the dribble, you can break out of it and continue dribbling. It's not as long as it was last year.

2. What glitch? I didn't see any issue with the players wearing long socks.
3. I tried a few minutes to figure this out and could not. It doesn't seem that way.

Graphics are THAT much better than 2k9. The courts are all high-res. and look just as impressive as Live's courts. I was actually surprised.

The game doesn't feel new to me but here's the catch: anyone who has played with me know that I used sliders to change 2k9. 2k10, out of the box, has a eerily similar feeling to how I had 2k9 adjusted. The game is slower and more deliberate. It's definitely trying to cater to the simulation style crowd.

Yes, they play the game at a higher speed (+15). I've played it at default the speed makes a HUGE difference.

Not on purpose. They switch due to the help defense routines and are smart enough to switch out. I've called an Iso when I've had a big man one on one due to a bad switch and the defending PG continually tries to make his way over to initiate a switch (realistically). They are definitely aware of mismatches defensively.

I definitely am not seeing dunks in traffic. Granted, I'm not trying to do it, but there is a definite need to have a clear path to the basket to initiate a dunk it seems.

There are turnovers, but they certainly need to be increased. I had to up the fouls because they are barely called on default.

Ray Allen's jump shot is certainly different. Lightning fast, too.

I think Pierce's is different. Didn't look the same to me.

I'm pretty sure that's exactly what it is. I'd say there are more "wrong faces" this year than last, but a lot of it has to do with the expressions. They're always doing something. Had someone (can't recall who) take a deep breath while at the FT line and puff his cheeks (wasn't Lebron).
