One subtle thing that would fix the point in the paint problem...

Most coaches philosophy is to not allow a layup or dunk...even if it means you have to foul. I have never played a game where I go in for a dunk, and the CPU attempts to wrap me up. They ALWAYS go for the block, and are usually too late. Even when I'm the user, I'm not able to wrap my man up as they proceed to go for the block.

I see they did add "take a charge" tendency, and that may help, but really, there need to be more fouls to prevent buckets, and not simply fouls from contact.

I don't know if its hard to code this type of logic in a game, because even on Fight Night 4, the CPU never clinches unless they are on the verge of being KO'ed. I think that same logic currently applies to fouls in bball games.

That's because players rarely go for a wrap up in a half court situation. Coaches would rather you foul than give an open layup, but they'd rather have you contest and try to block a shot than just wrapping up and fouling. There have only been a few times I ever see players wrapped up under the basket, and it always has to do with poor free throw shooters like Shaq or Dwight Howard, and it only happens when they receive the ball in a position where a dunk is inevitable, players (usually scrubs who are out there for no reason other than their 6 fouls) will wrap them up. Other than that, when does it ever happen?

Did they remove those fouls where the defense comes from behind and cleans your clock? Again, if you're talking about wrap ups, when do you EVER see that in a set half court defense.
