That's because players rarely go for a wrap up in a half court situation. Coaches would rather you foul than give an open layup, but they'd rather have you contest and try to block a shot than just wrapping up and fouling. There have only been a few times I ever see players wrapped up under the basket, and it always has to do with poor free throw shooters like Shaq or Dwight Howard, and it only happens when they receive the ball in a position where a dunk is inevitable, players (usually scrubs who are out there for no reason other than their 6 fouls) will wrap them up. Other than that, when does it ever happen?
Did they remove those fouls where the defense comes from behind and cleans your clock? Again, if you're talking about wrap ups, when do you EVER see that in a set half court defense.
