anyone having problem with jumpshots ?

seems to me that shooting at the top of the jump isnt working well this year. i could easily shoot in 2k9 but for some reason having problems being consistant in 2k10! any suggestions or methods in determining shot releases?

I been saying this since friday....

But as usually... no one listens.

Yesterday for the first time since playing 2k. CP3 ws cold. He couldn't hit a jumper. But part of me think it has to do with more the quicker releases

are u shooting with teh stick or teh button?
i couldnt hit a wide open shot with the button till i went back to the stick
seems like the timing for the button is more precise this year than the stick

It's just a lot quicker. I can still hit J.R. Smith like wetness in practice, but it took me 5 minutes with Melo in the gym to figure him out.

I think this is a good thing. Once you get use to it, you'll be good. I spend sometime in practice...you'll nail it down.

That was one thing that I did notice. I felt as though I was hitting a higher percentage with the button compared to the shot stick. I’ve always used the shot stick. But I don’t really like using the button. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o></o>

Truthfully, I have noticed this as well. I shoot with the shot stick and have been since 2k7, but I am having a difficult time knocking down shots on a consistent basis. I thought maybe I still needed to get used to the quick releases, but it's kind of weird that I cant knock down jumpers on a regular now. In practice mode, I am hitting them, and shooting them correctly, but in game they just don't fall. Regardless, I will have to keep playing.

i am hitting practice mode hard tonigh till i figher out the new shooting system. i mastered it on 2k9 but i guess its time for me to learn all over again

i use the shot stick and i have no problem at all they finally fixed lebrons shot better thank god.

i think the shot stick is better then pressing X

Yea he is the only one. Because my friend just called me. And told he was having trouble too. And just like jhizzle. We been using the stick since 2k7. We might just need more practice. So on the sigs look quick. But are actually late releases.


But someone said Lebron new sig shot is right.....Is wrong....last year they had it down pac. It was a tid too slow (and had a hard release point. it was very late.) But 2k9 shot was better than 2k10. I mean they changed James Posey sig shot to something thats no where near him.

It happens every year. Remember Rashard Lewis had TMacs shot Freakin' stupid, but what can ya say? They want to edit whatever they can each year whether right or wrong...

i'm having a hard time perfecting jose calderon's shot. but i do love how much quicker the shots are pulled of this year
