360 dunk doesnt work for sum reason?

ive ben sitting here in practice mode trying to do the 360 dunk or anything nice with jason richardson and i just do the same dunks over and over again. the game tells me to spin the stick in a circular motion and i do this and my shot just gets altered. need sum help here on how to do any good dunks.

Try spinning from the side the ball is on?

I have tried it starting from every direction and haven't got it to work at all with any player that has a 360 in thier package.

I've had the exact same problem. I just gave up trying to do it.

Its not just the 360. I cant do anything flash besides a windmill with Jason Richardson.

Starting to think that it just doesnt work

I couldn't get any of them work at all. I thought I was just doing something wrong like hitting down and away instead of just down. I had Josh Smith in practice and no matter what direction I hit he'd do the same 3 dunks,wouldn't even do a reverse when I pressed away from the basket.
