Patch Details?

So Ron over on the 2K boards said the patch is almost done and details are to come shortly. Now I expect that it will definitely fix some of the more obvious bugs (like the association player development glitch) but is anyone else hoping they implement a way to change quarter length in My Player mode? I understand there are "work-arounds" for this but I've put too much damn time into my guy to just start over now. Anyone think they'll put something in to remedy this issue?

nothing's confirmed yet. those details come out tuesday. but yeah, i think they will address this.

I hope they fix the custom sounds for halftime, replays, and individual highlights. I have my fingers crossed.

I hope they do. I just finished my first season with the Celtics and we lost in the finals to the Spurs. My Player is now rated 71 overall after the first season and i would hate to lose the 102,045 points i've now gotten and all the hours it has taken me to get them.

I think most likely they will address it, the question will be do u have to start your my player over again... that would be a little frustrating I'd say.

Yeah. It seems tho that they would have made it so you can change the Quarter Length during a season so you could find out whats the best for you. Some might be able to play on 12 minutes while others might be better with 8 minutes. If you started a My Player with 12 minutes and then after a few games decided that 12 was not for you then your would have to start over. So My Player changes should be able to be made during the My Player mode.

I havent had a chance to jump into the association....I am waiting for the Nogster Roster and the Patch.

I have read that there is a problem with player progression in association mode and player moral....Can someone please go into more detail as to what the problems are?

Has anyone heard if these will be addressed in the patch?

I will be disapointed in the patch if the frame rate issue is the only thing fixed.

According to Ron Admin at 2K:

The data is going through MS compression tool as we speak (normal for all patches). Whenever this is done, SimBaller will be on to post.

Just don´t get it, at all, why it is MS´ or Sony´s business what sort of fixed game companies publish. It´s a freaking basketball game, what´s to aprove ?

So how long after a console patch can we expect a PC patch? I guess that's why we pay $20 instead of $60, eh?

I highly doubt it. Judging by what Ron has said, it seems like we'll be waiting 2-3 more weeks and the NBA season starts next week.

I mean... whenever it's released it's released. Nothing anyone can do until then but sit tight and wait. At least we do know it's on the way. I was over at 2K's site a few minutes ago and after reading through some of the "50" pages in the "Patch Update" topic you'd swear it was a riot going on...... crazy... it's like fires are burning all over the place, angry posters and guys looting and not an administrator/moderator in site. What a shame... I had to get out of there before I got shot or stoned to death LoL!
