    Question about the "emotion" attribute

Why is this an attribute that you can assign points to? Like when you doing your developmental drills, who would waste points on the emotion attribute? Also, lets say your player is Expressive with a 50 emotion rating, or you have a laid back player with a 99 emotion rating...whats the difference?

Really? What about Kevin Martin? I don't look at him as one of the emotional players in the NBA, but he was second in FTA after Dwight.

I always thought it had to do with how they handled their minutes/roles during the season.

I'm probably wrong, it's just a complete guess.

I thought it was simply an animation booster.

The higher the rating, the more likely they will LOOK like they are complaining when the refs make a call NOT in their favor
          Concrete evidence/videos please

LOL...that's what I think too, which is stupid because who would waste attribute points on that?

On the 2k boards they said it affects how much you draw fouls. they all seemed to agree on that.

I wouldn't know because I ain't spending points on that! Maybe in my sophomore year.

I actually threw some points into it to see if it would do anything. It is pretty cheap so no big deal. I draw some fouls but not really many more. I don't know. I may throw some more into it once I get a few other things taken care of.

So what's the point of having a draw foul tendency if emotion supposedly does the same thing?

Nah. I was actually looking for just that info, and it happened to be on the first page.

Re: Question about the "emotion" attribute

Because in my player we don't have tendencies, thus emotion. At any rate I raised my emotion from a 49 (second season lost a point) up to a 78 and I went from drawing 1 foul in an entire game as a slasher mind you. To drawing 8 on avg. I had played 26 games at a 49 rating and was literally averaging 1 foul a game. Now I'm much higher. It seems to have had an actual impact on calls. I like it.

I'm skeptical of this, but I'll reserve final judgement until tomorrow. It's cheap so I should be able to max it out in 3-4 games.

It doesn't make sense for an EMOTION attribute to draw more fouls. That is pure bull. Sorry. Logically it doesn't make sense.

                            From the game:

Emotion: Affacts the type of REACTION to referee calls
