Living Roster Feature

I've asked this question a few times since buying the game, and I have not been able to get a clear response.

Does the Living Rosters feature still update once a week or every day now? With modes like NBA Today, showcasing games happening on that specific day, I would think rosters and line ups would be up to date.

Any clarification would be appreciated!

It updates every day... With new tendencies, hot/cold streaks, injuries, etc., number changes, trades, everything... everyday... the commentary will also adjust with the changes in the real NBA when playing exhibition games

um.. no it doesnt. lol. Theres only been 3 roster updates since the game was released. I'd imagine it'll be updted every week or so like last year. The commentary on the other hand and the box scores do update everyday.

Minor things such as lineups and injuries will be updated daily. But significant changes like tendencies and ratings will probably be updated weekly.

of couse im going by preseason, and last year. There was an update about every week or so last year. Do you really think they are gonna get to download a new roster file every single day this year? Whats gonna change each day is the commentary and box scores and stats (which are part of the living rosters) however i highly highly doubt that there will be a new downloadable official 2k roster everyday even once the regular season starts

well, this thread is about the livign roster and my game tells me it downloads it everytime i load it up, but to download the updated Rosters, you have to go to 2kshare and download official roster updates there. I believe it works, cause the most recent one changes so that crowds arent always fully packed. (i think it worked cause i tried it with both the old and the new roster)

you dont need to go to 2kshare. They download automtically. If you see a progress bar, thats when youre gettin a new roster

There is no set schedule for updates. 2K will make roster updates when they feel updates are necessary. That comes from the 2k Insider.

We could see two in one week, or go two weeks without a roster update.

So this feature well not affect an Association mode correct? Whatever Roster I start my Association with that will be the Roster for the whole season correct? To keep up with any movement as far as trades and injuries I would have to do this manually? Thanks in advance

Yes, yes, and yes.

That is why i'm waiting for at least for the first roster update to be released till i start my association. I'll be updating all 30 team's rosters in my association as it plays out in real life (good thing we are able to control all 30 teams this year).

Until I start my association, going to be playing the NBA TODAY Feature which is awesome in it's own right btw.
