Man 2k10 is blowing me away with real-time gameplay

IMO there are not any cut scenes in 2k10. everything from pre game stuff to free throws are done in real time and the camera just focus on that player or situations. this is truly amazing for a sports game company to achieve.

yes there are issues like REF not giving u the ball on FT or player and ref keep bouncing back to each other but man this is what I LIKE TO CALL

    AMAZING!!!!!!

yup, no cut scenes, is great. that was a major plus in the MLB 2k9.

2k did a fantastic job with NBA 2k10. first time in history Ive ever played 12 minute quaters in an NBA title. with 2k10 I started with 6 minutes, then went to 10 now im at 12. Im getting realistic stats with 12 minutes WOW!!!

Just played a game with the Pistons at Mavs. I lost 88-78 (11-min, Allstar)...I was close to tie the game in the 4th, but Nowitzki and Terry were too much. The Mavs shot at 42%, Pistons at 40%. Very realistic game.

Now that I've been playing 2k10 more in depth, I see that it is pretty amazing what they did with the presentation especially in association mode.

Oh and for the guys that are playing 12 min qtrs and getting relaistic stats, how the heck is that happening? I play on all star with 10 min qtrs and modified sliders for a challenge and am using the Lakers and I'm getting pretty realistic stats with scores around the 105 range. Do you guys really milk the clock?

^ahhh. Yeah, that makes sense seeing that running plays take a lot off the clock.

NBA 2k10 is a classic - and this is pre-patch. I can only imagine what will happen post-patch.
When the game is on the line, winners want the ball.

The game does some things wrong that'll definitely having u scratch ur head.. But all in all, The game is close to being masterpiece

I'd having no problem starting my "MY PLAYER'" and Association modes over..The real NBA started tonight sio I don't feel like I lost any time.. 2K just needs to fix 3-4 serious issues and I'm back in bball heaven

I beg to differ. I have never seen MLB The Show, but I hear a lot of good things about it so I'm sure it's a classic as far as baseball games go.

Real-time gameplay, NBA Today, player differentiation and even tendencies starting to come through, the depth of the Association mode, custom arena sounds, 82games.com, depth of player customization, My Player mode, atmosphere, etc... are done so well that NBA 2k10 is truly impressive.

NBA 2k10, is a classic. It's not perfect and has some head-scratching issues, but it does many, many things right. I don't want to go into all of the details, but I will sum it up this way:

Football is my favorite sport. I love it; watch it way more than I do basketball. Even yesterday I could not sit through the entire Cavs/Celtic game. I can sit through countless football games with garbage teams. I bought Madden, was hyped about it, and have played it a grand total of once.

I played NBA 2k9 a few times, thought it was good, then played it sparingly thereafter.

NBA 2k10 is an addiction. I play it daily. I am involved in my Association, work hard at getting the players better, and generally get into each game. I have not played a game this good in a long, long time.

Of course, we are all entitled to our perspective. For me, NBA 2k10 is a classic.
When the game is on the line, winners want the ball.
