anyone having game freeze issue (360)

After having recently purchased the game, I haven't had the luxury of playing a full game.

The game freezes and then I have to reset my Xbox.

I was wondering if this is a normal bug, or if anyone can relate it to roster/slider files I may have downloaded.

I also have the same problem.

Try this:

Turn the console off.
Press the button that opens the tray.
Then press the button again to close the tray (or push it in). Of course, make the sure the game is in the tray.
Now, play the game (either by selecting play game or it loads automatically).

I have found that when I do this; it works. In fact, this is the only way I play the NBA 2k game. If I don't do this, the game freezes. First the audio malfunctions malfunctions, then I get the disc error.

Nope. Sadly, I still can't play. I think I am giving up. I literally haven't finished a single game. It's no fun at all. I almost got through an entire game today, but with 4 minutes left, it just froze. I think it's a file I downloaded. I played 3 complete games prior to grabbing any roster or slider files, and now ...this.

The game has been freezing since the XBOX update I downloaded. It freezes mainly when I try to change settings. I have it installed to the hard drive.

Also sometimes it freezes (not during game play) while trying to switch menus. I was about to shut it off and reset but waited like 10 seconds and it went back to normal.

I played this game since it came out, the freezing that I'm seeing has ONLY started after the new xbox update.
