Running Plays Help?

I think I might just suck at it but why is this aspect of the game so hard? The computer normally stands right where I'm supposed to be and when he D's me up and pushes me off my little "trail" the play breaks. Everytime!! Also it seems like it takes forever and a month for my computer players to even run the play. And finally calling plays. This is not me (it's 2k's fault) but calling plays always chews up alot of clock. Is this just me? Any help will be appreciated. And I did look in the gripes thread but only seen things like headband color, long socks and Carlos Arroyo's arms.
I see all you people playing "sim" ball and I have to resort to basically my post up game and isolation, I just need some help.

Thanks.

Re: Running Plays Help?

you could try adjusting the defensive pressure slider in coach profiles. theres no reason for the cpu to be in your grill 100% of the time anyway, especially when youre a few feet behind the 3pt line.
