Dunk package and special dunks

This is for my player.. If I set my dunk package to Vince Carter, and I have special dunk like tomahawk, is it true that I can only do one of them?

I'm pretty sure you can do both, but for me the specialty dunks seem to override the dunk package dunk most of the time. For instance if I have a tomahawk power picked and Carter's is something like a tomahawk lean then you'll do the power most times. Also it depends on where you shoot from when running to the rim. Most of the tomahawks are triggered when you attempt dunks around the FT line. Carters same dunk or w/e could be triggered from closer to the rim. I'm not sure, now I'm babbling.

Hmm... I see. Can someone confirm this? It just seems that specialty dunks are easier to pull off and some jump really far... but i spent more points for the dunk package. any suggestions on which is actually better in game?

it also depends where u take of from Dwight Howards package are more standing dunks so if I have specialty dunks and take off from further than they will use those but if I take off closer to the hoop then they will perform Dwights dunks

I notice that I performed only 1 or 2 kind of dunks in the whole game... my dunk rating is 86 and vertical is 99. Does it have to be higher in order for me to do all sorts of vince carter dunk?

Yeah once you set some special dunks they take over the dunk package. Those special dunks you selected will be what you will do the vast majority of the time. It doesn't matter what the rating is. The only one that doesn't completely take over is Dwight's like the other guy said. That's cause the dunks in his package are mostly for close to the basket and the special dunks you set will be what the player does when taking off from a distance.

Also the 360 special dunks do not work. I have yet to see any player do any of the 360 dunks when assigned no matter what.

I did a 360 once. I don't know what I did, but I think I had Jason Richardson, and I was attempting to do a simple reverse dunk, but he did a 360.

That's different. J Rich has 360 dunks in his package. I am talking about the 360 special dunks you can assign. None of those work.
