Re: Create SuperSonics
Re: Create SuperSonics
If you have access to 2KShare, I have created Sonics teams on both a 2004 classic roster and 2007 classic roster. I feel like the jerseys I came up with were going to be about as close as we can get this year. If anything, it'd provide an real solid base to tweak as you see fit. My gamertag is Swove and the Rosters are named something like "Classic 2004 Roster" and "Classic 2008 Roster Full V2".
If you do not have access to 2KShare, I'll try to find out all the create-a-team information I used and get back to you.Comment

Re: Create SuperSonics
Okay, this is my interpretation of the 2000's Seattle Supersonics using NBA 2K10's create-a-team feature. You may need to find your own color green because looking now, I believe the shade I chose is too light (it resembles the 1980's Sonics more than 2000's).
And may I note, I'm not sure there's much of anything we can do to truly create-a-team in 2K10 that can be mistaken for the authentic Seattle Supersonics from up-close.
Seattle Supersonics
Abbreviation: SEA
Team Logo: S
Team Colors:
Green (I chose 2nd row from the bottom, 3rd column from the left - it's too light)
Yellow (5th Row from the bottom, 1st column)
White
Logo Color:
Yellow
White
Green
Home Jersey
Jersey Style: 1
Jersey Color 1: White
Jersey Color 2: Green
Jersey Color 3: Yellow
Name Color: Green
Number Color 1: Green
Number Color 2: Yellow
Dominant Shoe Color: White
Shoe Trim 1: Green
Shoe Trim 2: Yellow
Socks: White
Away Jersey
Jersey Style: 1
Jersey Color 1: Green
Jersey Color 2: White
Jersey Color 3: Yellow
Name Color: White
Number Color 1: White
Number Color 2: Yellow
Dominant Shoe Color: Black
Shoe Trim 1: Green
Shoe Trim 2: Yellow
Socks: Black

The colors and design are based off of these jerseys. I believe the created aways look better than the created homes. With a couple of small color switches, you may be able to turn the home whites into their later year alternate yellows instead.Comment

Re: Create SuperSonics
I don't have an ingame picture unfortunately. I wouldn't say the jerseys are anything to get your hopes up regarding. For starters, there's a big "S" on the chest where "Seattle" should be. There's only a limited amount that can be done, though, I feel like 2K made jersey option number 1 with a generic Sonics in mind (though it still just vaguely resembles the actual design).
It takes a very small amount of time to throw this create-a-team together. The hardest part was finding the corresponding colors for the different parts of the jersey (ex: away number outline color).
Finally, to reiterate, the green I originally suggested is way too light (for 2000's Sonics). The yellow likely needs to be darker as well. I will say though, using these created Sonics is a heck of a lot better than trying to pass the Thunder off as a classic Sonics team.Last edited by VDusen04; 12-15-2009, 10:38 PM.Comment
