The left trigger is used to crowd the player. The right stick puts you in a defensive stance while holding to the left and you can call for help if you push and hold to the right.

I never saw this in the manual. I have read the manual 30 times and nothing in regards to holding down the right stick.

hold the right stick to the left and move the left stick to stay in front of the other player. you can use turbo to keep if necessary and sometimes you will have to let it go to get in position. if you push the right stick to the right you can call for help defense.

Push the right stick to the right and that calls for help defense rotation.

This is a perfect example why 2ksports need to include tutorial videos with their games. Or at the very least indepth manuals.


I think I also stumbled onto this accidently today too in myplayer while trying to a figure out to stop the constant alley oops. I pressed down though and my player would actually stick to the opposition and try to deny a pass.
