Does using the B button for dribble moves = cheese?

OK, so I got this game when it first came out, and could never quite get the handle on the dribble moves.

Then I got College Hoops 2k8, which uses the B and Y button for dribble moves.

Now going back to 2k10, it's hard to make the adjustment. So I switched to the Alternate control scheme which uses B for dribble moves, and it was a lot easier and simpler.

My question is, do you guys look as someone who uses the B button for dribble moves as a cheeser?

No, I feel cheese is how you play, not your button configurations ... I use B also ...
I do it just because I like how they actually do the same move all the time instead of when using the triggers they sometimes do the move wanted

        +1

I've always had a little trouble with isomotion, so there's nothing wrong with using what works for you.

To me its like using buttons on fight night. To a sticks player, its cheesy. But to a button masher it is sim. You should do whatever works best for you. For me, its the sticks cause it creates a higher need for strategy and skill. Which is my drive. I like the challenge.

I hope it's not cheese, that's the only way I can do anything. I wish there were some instructions on how to do different/specific moves using the B button, like there is for the stick button thing.

It use to be back on 2k8 or 2k7 in the instruction manual. But hey what ever floats your boat. I like alt B for the spin move easiness. Plus it makes my controller lasts a lot longer. Because between this game and UFC my sticks were worn out.

This use to be a cheese in 2k9. But this with years new logic. You can't do a spin about 20 times down the floor before trying to score a basket.

"cheese" is when you take advantage of an exploit and use it to your advantage, continuously. If the button scheme allowed you to spin, spin, spin and not be stopped, and you did this repeatedly, you'd be cheesing. As already stated, whichever way isomotion works better for you, is how you should use it, there's no cheese in that.
