So especially since i play 7 min. quarters i would like the CPU to hurry up since i play a condensed game. i don't like have a game that ends up being a 75-68 final score. so what i'm wondering is... is there an adjustment or slider that helps this?? any way to help make the CPU make quicker decisions w/ the ball?

CPU's slow play sucks
I can't stand it when the CPU holds onto the ball, and runs the shot clock down on almost every possession (especially seen when playing against boston) I was watching some NBA games over the last couple days and noticing how rare it was to hear the shot clock violation buzzer, and sometimes against the CPU they get 4 or 5 shot clock violations in one game (and i only play 7 min. quarters!!)

Re: CPU's slow play sucks
I find this is a problem as well since i also like to play 7min quarters. I think it may be due to some plays taking a long time to develop, and the cpu has a tendency to call the same plays over and over. For more structured teams with a high call plays tendency, this can be annoying. The only teams where this is not really a problem is the Warriors, Suns, Knicks and a few other high pace fast-break style teams. I'm not sure, but maybe upping CPU offensive awareness slider will increase their offensive efficiency some. The other way is to probably just lower the run-plays tendency in coach profiles to no higher than 50, that way players will play to just their individual tendencies more often. -

Lower the Run Plays tendency slider and crank up all of the shooting tendency sliders for the CPU.Ryan Spencer

I don't recall a "run plays" slider? are you talking about lowering "run plays" inside the coaching tendencies for each individual team?Comment

never seen the CPU throw an outlet pass, or just scurry for a layup in transition after a rebound yet in this game.Comment

Re: CPU's slow play sucks
I turned the CPU run plays all the way to zero for each team. The CPU plays a very organic game that way. Also, the stars reaaly shine that way. Teams that get out and run, will run and teams that feed the post pound it down low.
Try it out. It really makes the CPU less predictable aslo.Moderator
