What moves are you using? And who are you playing? CPU or Human?

        Re: chaining moves together

I'm no expert, but the easiest way for me to chain moves together is to set them up by tapping L2 (LT on 360). That usually does some dribble in place moves. Afterwards, I tap R2 (RT on 360) which does a hesitation move, and then right before the move ends, I do a spin move or behind the back to the other side. And that usually allows me to drive to the hoop, or spot up for a jumper. Also, instead of the spin or behind the back, you could just flick the left analog stick to the opposite side of the hesitation, and that should to a crossover.

        Hopefully that helps.

Just start your next move before the current one ends. Now what you want to do is up to you. My personal favorite is a crossover than a quick spin move. I seen the "stumble" animation about a billion times doing that one. Also my favorite move to do IRL, lol

thanks guys..another question i have is do you have to do double moves instead of one now because one move doesn't work at least for me.
