What do those five bars under the players mean? They are sometimes blue, red, or yellow?

Blue means that the player is cold. That means it is tougher it hit the shot, open or contested.

Yellow is normal.

Red means the player is hot. That means he will make the shot more often.

The number of bars that are filled corresponds to the players ability on making a shot from that area. The greater the bars, the better the shooting he is from that spot.

True, but players can be better in one 5-bar zone over another.

Yes, but watch out for dark blue. That means ice cold.
