Ok, for starters i have always played fps's this is my first sports game but im really diggin the my player and draft combine, i love the playstyle but im struggling. For starters I find it very hard to get above a B team rating, it seams like i have to get 5+ good things to move from c to c+ etc, but 1 small thing like bad steal attempt to move me back down to c. Also after you do the 6 games and 6 drills i end up about the same at 40 overall and then i dont know what to do. I cant do drills, i cant do games, i can only do scrimmages. Do i just wait for something to happen?

Also a estimation how long does it take to get drafted if you average a a/b every game in real time? a week? a month? Also when does draft happen? just as you get good enough or on a certain day? Also how good is good enough to get drafted? round 1 any pick? I mean where is this infromation how do all of you guys know how to play?

You have to play smart. Make the good passes, make the good screens, shoot open shots, rebound, etc. When playing defense, stick with your man and try to play the passing lanes for steals and go for rebounds.

After the 6 games and 6 drills, you have accumulated a bunch of skill points for your player. Go to that section and boost up your attributes. After this, just upload your man to the servers and you'll be able to play as him in 2K10.

The Draft Combine is basically done after your 6 games and 6 drills. You can play scrimmages. If you win 5, you get a achievement. Winning 15 scrimmages also gets you an achievement.

The draft only occurs in the main game (NBA 2K10) when starting up My Player Mode. You'll be pretty much drafted no matter what with the Draft Combine. It is possible to be a first round pick, if you're good enough (consistent A and A+ games)

wow thanks man that sets me at ease cause i ended up making 5 or 6 different characters cause i kept sucking and i thought u had to do all a+ to get drafted.

Ok i ended up getting invited to lakers trials as a sg but didnt make it, im in d-league. Im making a+ every game, have completed 5 and averaging: 50 pts 3 rebounds 9 steals 2 blks 25 fg. Why am i still in d-league? How many more games till i get another chance?

in the training camp and summer circuit games make the quarter length longer.

also i wanted to know how much the difference is in a 6'9 player than a 6'3 or so player

if your a pg or sg that will make a big difference because you could score over everyone, but the taller you make someone the less amount of skill points you can earn

Another thing is that i find on pc it is ALOT more forgiving, on xbox if you shoot from post and miss its a bad shot but you can shoot all day on pc and its always good shot.

Also im playing sg, is their a way to turn a pass to a oop? Cause im 6'9" and i play under the net dunkin but it would be sweet to oop.

Also i found out total nba season is 82 games but you only have top play 20 something, but how do you skip them? Also i would really like to play with lakers, what position is posible?

Another thing that is kinda weird is that i have been playing with different players and the last 5 were drafted by the hawks, i even got to 99 overall JUST TO SEE if thats what you have to have to go on a good team but i was still put on hawks. I would love to go with lakers, cavs or even mavs.

I dont really understand people, you want to be first round number 1 pick, but then u go to a loser team, or do you guys just want a challange? I want to go onto lakers and take em to a championship. IDK what do you guys think?

Wow this team scoring system blows in some areas. Like im playin my center today and im guardin the paint, and it kept saying i abandoned my target but my target was beyond 3pt range, and a center being able to come even close is total bs. Meanwhile im boxing out, rebounding and blocking other peoples shots.

So noone has ANY comments on what im talkin bout?

I think thats to keep people from zoneing up when playing center. Can be really cheesy in a Team-up game
