this pisses me off so damn much. I edited players how I like them and damn game downloads the living rosters and saved them over my custom rosters. I even put copy my files to the MU and it got copied over.

Yup, happens all the time. That is why I keep 2 files for my roster, and everytime NBA Today saves over one of them, I load up the older one and resave it so I always have 2 saves.Comment

I was wondering why my Street mod & NCAA rosters were defaulting back to NBA....I guess it does a full overwrite, uniform/stadium tags and all when it overwrites the loaded roster

Ok I download a roster from 2kshare and after saving it to my hard drive (ps3) I attempt to load it and every damn time I just get the current rosters. Not sure what I am doing wrong here and it is really frustrating. Seems not too many people are having issues with this so is it just something minor I am overlooking? Any help would be appreciated. I ran into this problem playing 2k11, so I had to do what Bemo wrote. It sucks that I had to wait until the 2011 NBA Finals when rosters were no longer updated to put all my edits in so they wouldn't be over written.
I don't remember how well this worked, but EA had a pretty good idea with NCAA Basketball 10: they would update player ratings, but you could choose to have that done with unedited players, meaning if you edited UNC's Harrison Barnes, I don't think EA would touch him; but if you didn't edit Duke's Austin Rivers, then EA would apply rating edits to him. I wish 2K could do something like that because I want all current NBA players to be updated, but I can't stand playing with the '96 Bulls because if I give Jordan the real Air Jordan XI INSTEAD OF THOSE FAKE, JACKED-UP BOOTLEG WAL*MART SHOES HE'S WEARING, my edits will be over written.Comment

It doesn't matter if you have the living rosters turned off, they still load up. Something is very wrong with this game, I don't even know where to start but in all aspects this game is flawed.Comment
