I don't know what your sliders are.....But I've never seen LeBron throw one of those over the head turnovers.

What? The contact in the paint is ridiculous at times, ok not get rid of it completely, but there should be some rationale, my Center should not be effected by a little PG bumping him and causing him to have a seizure out there.

Man if you don't wanna play basketball, don't ask that the best SPORTS game simulation OUT fix it so you score more, if you suck, you suck, No game fixes are gonna help you realize when to shoot, who to shoot, who you are shooting against, etc. that comes with knowing the players you are playing with...alot of what he speaks of DOESNT exist. And his video replays don't look like issues, he sucks...

Stop focusing on making this about 2k vs Live. You always do this - take these articles personal as if someone just called your kid ugly.

If you don't agree with the article, fine. State why.

As has already been mentioned, it's by someone who wants the game to get better and guess what - it can.

While I don't agree with the article completely, there are some points that are valid. Either way, it generates discussion in a forum that continues to slow down as The Show/MLB 2k were released and NCAA/Madden are right around the corner.

That's part of the problem.

Everyone says "default isn't good enough" then they go ahead and try a slider set that screws up something ridiculous. Of course the game is to blame at that point - 2k should take into account that you put Hands at 0.

It's not an issue with the default game in appropriate situations. It only occurs under pressure. Example:

Ok after getting my morning coffee and some thinking. I can see what rangerick is complaining about. But let me just say this. I think when shooting close to the basket (dunks, layups etc. etc). Lets put aside real life for just a few of my thoughts. When shooting jumpshots you press a button and then time the release. But when driving the user just presses the a button and animation/ratings/height take over. There has to be some sort of risk. If someone drives to the rim. And someone is standing there or defending...something should happen. we always complain about giving players "weight" and all this other stuff. But "contact animations a bad thing".....You must of been those kids on 2k9 trying to paint the sixth capel.

But I will say this....The animations need some tweaking. This was their first year with contact animations. Its not going to be prefect.
