Settings don't stick

I've just got the game and downloaded some sliders and rosters. I load them into the game but they always reset when i reboot for a new game session.

How do I get them to load at the start of each game session ?

This happened to me way back too.

Go into Options > Load/Save > Delete and delete the 'setting's' file. Then create your settings again, and you should be good to go.

It's some kind of glitch the first time round you do it - hence deleting your initial settings.

Strange, i tried that and no difference. Is it because of auto save as it seems to create a new file on loading the game ?

I'm sure that's what I did to sort the problem, but it was some time ago, so I might be mistaken.

If you delete any other sliders than the ones you want to use, it will load these upon loading the game.

As for rosters, it does always seem to check you have the latest official 2k rosters, so you might have to manually load the roster you want to use. I only use the official ones, so not too sure about that.
