How to sim till subbed (my player) using keyboard? (PC)

My controller just broke, so I've been using the keyboard for some time now, and when I try to press "D" (which is numpad 5 according to the controls), nothing happens. So is it possible to use the keyboard to sim till your subbed in in my player mode?

I'm not sure if this would help or not, but I also do have a PS3 controller.
