How to make the "good" teams good? And how to enjoy the regular season?
I was wondering if there was any way to make it so the Cavs, Lakers, etc. were 60 win teams. And any tips to enjoy the regular season in association. I find myself getting bored constantly, and when I sim to the offseason it's not fun because im not "into" my association because i havent played enough games.

turn team chemistry off. that should help a little i think. also player roles is your preference. do you like having players complain and can you stand the bigs jacking 3s which believe me is not a big deal at all. all up to you.
edit: also try controlling 30 teams and playing with everybody. its hard to get bored that way. i play a game a week, which is the 'game of the week'. then once i get to the playoffs i play as much games i can and all elimination games. you can do that, or you could just play a couple times in the regular season, play some big playoff games, and try and fly through tons of seasons. like go through possibly 10 and see how the league develops.Last edited by RayAllen20; 05-16-2010, 04:44 PM.I will always, always be a Jets fan. I generally make a few changes and make them my team. In my Pistons dynasty on 2k8 I have JJ Redick and Grant Hill on my team. I also created myself as an undersized shooting center. I am 27-10 on a 9 game win streak. I am pumped. Plus I only play the 58 game season not too short and not super long.Gaming hard since 1988
I have won like 25 Super Bowls in Madden so I am kinda a big deal.Comment

Turning team chemistry off makes the Celtics-Spurs and Cavs all worse. Also keep player roles on or rookies won't get the mins they deserve, in my association John Wall avg'd 18 mpg. We all know he'd be getting upwards of 25 mpg irlLast edited by Illuminati; 05-22-2010, 11:30 PM.Comment

It's really really annoying dude. It's really a shame they couldn't get around to patching the issues in Association mode.Comment
