00s East and West All-Star teams

As was said in another thread, the 2000 teams should show up in next year's game. I was wondering who you guys think should be on the teams. Here's my list. Just throwing it out there. There are probably guys who shouldn't be on here or guys that I missed.

OO East
C Ben Wallace
PF Chris Bosh
SF Lebron James
SG Vince Carter
PG Allen Iverson

G Jason Kidd
F Paul Pierce
G Dwyane Wade
G Richard Hamilton
C Dwight Howard
G Ray Allen
G Gilbert Arenas
G Chauncey Billups
F Antawn Jamison

OO West
C Shaquille O'Neal
PF Tim Duncan
SF Kevin Garnett
SG Kobe Bryant
PG Steve Nash

F Dirk Nowitzki
G Chris Paul
C Yao Ming
F Carmelo Anthony
F Amare Stoudemire
G Tracy McGrady
F Shawn Marion
F Elton Brand
G Tony Parker
G Manu Ginobili

Also, I remember this mod for NBA Live 04 that gave the all-decade teams' players thier NBA team jerseys; it would be sweet if they could add that to 2k11.

Re: 00s East and West All-Star teams

I'm horrible at these lists because I always forget random people. It looks like a solid list, but was Chris Bosh really the best power forward in the East of the last ten years?

I also agree about the team jerseys. NBA 2K2 also had that feature, each century squad featured players in their actual retro uniforms.

I was looking for a classic team video of 2K2 but I came up empty. I did see this though, somewhat appropriate for the recent events.

Solid list. I can't even think of any other people that would belong there, but I know there must be more. I'd even put Dwight Howard over Ben Wallace though.

Jermaine O'Neal needs to be on the 00's East team at starting PF. Plus, Ray Allen should be on the 00's West since he spent most of the last decade, or at least his best seasons, in Seattle.

Disagree with you there. Ben Wallace for 6 or 7 years of the decade was the most dominant defensive center since, arguably, Russell. Plus, Wallace has played throughout the decade; Howard came up in 2004-2005. Let Wallace have it. (but 2K...you better have him with a big afro, or it won't have the same feel)

I'd have to say Allen should be on the West team, since his best years were in Seattle.

and I think Marbury should be on one of those teams. (Maybe on the West ahead of Tony Parker).

I could see making a case for McGrady to be on the East, since he played there from 2000 - 2004, and was better in his 5 years in the East than he was in his years in the West. but either way, he should make it.

What about Jerry Stackhouse? From 2000 - 2004, in the east, he averaged over 20 points per game, with a season of 29.4. Throw him on the East instead of Allen, and put Allen on the West.

and also, Jermaine O'Neal should certainly be on the East team. Take off Arenas. I'd say he isn't at the same level as the rest of the guys listed.

and with Antawn Jamison, I agree he should be on ONE of these teams, but which one? He won a 6th man of the year in Dallas. And put up big numbers in Golden State. But, his best career years came in Washington.

EDIT: forgot about this guy, but how about move Jamison to the West, and add Antonio Davis to the East? do you guys think he's worthy? He was really good from 2000-2004 in Indiana and Toronto, and made an All-Star game in 2001 with Toronto.
