    Some questions!

In my association, I am 6 or 7 years in the Heat. My problem is, my scouts blow. Every offseason I check the scouts on the list and they all are rated as an 'F' with 'A' potential. So in year 1 or 2 I hired a couple of them hoping they would develop. Here I am in year 7 and my scouts are still rated as 'F'. So, is this a glitch in my assocation that doesn't allow good scouts to reach the job candidate list?

Another question regarding chemistry. I have 5 studs on my starting 5. All above 84. Will it hurt chemistry If I have all of their roles (the 5 starters) as 'I want you to be the star of this team'? Or should I ask, is it better to only have 1 or 2 with the 'i want you to be the star of this team' and have the other starters roles as the other ones available?

Then, another question regarding RFAs. I drafted a stud PG. He went through his rookie deal (2+2) and then it was time for Free agency. He was listed as an RFA. So that means I have the opportunity to match any deal he is offered correct? I never got a chance to match any offers. He declined any offer I made him. I thought RFAs had no choice. I thought If I matched a contract then he can't leave? The problem wasn't cap room either. After he declined all my offers I went and signed a big FA deal so cap was not an issue. Is there a RFA glitch or did I botch something during the process?

    Thanks for the advice!

    Re: Some questions!

I think the scout development was a feature that never got fully implemented. I haven't seen any scouts improve over time.

As far as your 5 stud starters, it will affect team chemistry in that "stars of the team" are allocated more minutes by the CPU, leaving fewer minutes for the rest of the team. You can manually edit the minutes but then the "stars" might start complaining if they're not getting 37+ mins a game. As a rule, I only let one player be the star of my team so I spread more mins to the rest of the team.

I think I may have encountered an issue with restricted free agents where even though I made the best offer (salary and role) they still declined to play with another team--and the interest bar showed they were most interested in MY OFFER.
