NBA Elite 11 ESPN Broadcasting NBA 2k11 should get TNT

There is a rumor that NBA Elite will have ESPN presentations. I hope nba 2k11 get TNT. In MY opinion TNT would be better especially if they have Charles barkley on audio in games. IF YOU REALLY THINK ABOUT IT. NBA 2k10 was some what of TNT game. They had kenny the jet smith. & from time to time you would hear that reporter with the CRAZY color suits on if you played offline games. So if they gave it a TNT presentation it would basically take it to the next level.

I don't think this is possible. I think TNT, ESPN, and ABC are all linked somehow...therefore, since Live alread has ESPN, I don't think it's possible for 2k to get the TNT license.

The worst thing to do, in my opinion, is to watch closely every step of the competitor and do the exact same thing. TNT license is a waste of money/effort. EA can get whoever/whaever they want, 2K should stick to perfecting the gameplay and whatever they have their focus on. To me, a network license is the last thing to make a game better. Just put a TNT sticker on your screen - done.

        No.

ESPN/ABC only. You might be confused that the networks tell us about upcoming games on other stations.

I have a feeling this thread will turn into "Hey look! EA has this and that! 2K, you must do this and that! Hey look! EA got that too! Wow, 2K must get it too"... etc. etc..

I'm seriously not being sarcastic here, but I have NBA 2K10 and I've never heard Kenny Smith or Craig Sager (that reporter with the CRAZY color suits) on there. Is there something I'm missing? I've only heard Kevin Harlan, Clark Kellog, and Cheryl Miller. So I'm not saying you're wrong--I'm just asking...

But I agree that getting TNT announcers to call the game would be great. I'd be satisfied with just an announcing team--you don't have to do the wipes and the presentation (that's a lot of money). Plus, if you get color commentating with Reggie Miller and some kind of in-studio stuff with Charles Barkley, that might mean they could be in-game players too; I'm really hoping they do have classic teams.

The game needs Ian Eagle and Mike Fratello

TNT was purchased by Sony for their NBA game...who knows how long that contract lasts. But they already have the announcer in place...Kevin Harlan does games on TNT.

Yeah, I like Ian Eagle. But Kevin Harlan is good too, so I'm fine with him.

this game look and fill is of a nba on tnt and they have one announcer down. There no need for them to spend tons of $$$ to just put the tnt overlays on it. All they have to do is get a tnt color guy and there set.

And if you guys are thinking if 2k had tnt meant barkley ej and kenny came in with package your wrong. They would get sperate contract to be in the game. kind like retired players in the game.

Heres a break down. Live has espn lics and had marv and steve kerr and ernie johnson and greg anthonty 3 were with tnt at the time and 1 with espn as part of the game.
sony nba game has the tnt lics kenny smith and marc jackson 1 is tnt and the other is espn.

Having one doesnt mean the other's come with it...
